About the PTA

Purpose:

The main purpose of the Two Rivers PTA is to provide support to our school which includes our students, staff, and families.

Objectives:

Provide programs and financial support to help enrich the school’s educational goals for our children.
Connect students and families through a variety of activities.
Provide support and show our appreciation to the entire TRES staff.
Plan fundraising initiatives so we can execute our first three objectives.

PTA Structure:

Executive Board: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
Board of Directors: Executive Board, Committee Chairs/Co-Chairs, and School Principal.
Committee Chairs: Communications, Events, Hospitality, Fundraising, Membership, Spirit Wear, and Yearbook.
Committee Membership: Volunteers.
General Members: Teachers, Staff, Parents, Community Members.

Executive Board Elections:

Executive Board positions are a two year term and a person can serve for two consecutive terms per position, if elected a second time. Elections for Executive Board positions are held in September when a position is vacant.

Committee Chair Appointments:

The Executive Board appoints Chairs and Co-Chairs, who serve their committee for two years. Interested in becoming a PTA chair?
