Here is a sneak peek at some of the fun and amazing things the Hospitality Committee is cooking up for our incredible educators!
This year's theme is: "You Deserve This"
Thank you Two Rivers educators for all that you do for our kids, we appreciate you! <3

The Hospitality Committee is launching an exciting sponsorship opportunity for local businesses to support the TRES teacher's lounge!
Sign up to support our wonderful teachers and staff and we'll advertise for you all year long on our website, social media, at events, and through membership communications. If you or anyone you know is interested, go ahead and fill out our Business Sponsor Request Form.
Did we mention your donation is tax deductible!? Two Rivers Elementary School PTA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (EIN #99-4305270).

Today we celebrate Ms. Matthews!!!! We hope this gift “Lights up the Night” on her desk, and the “Principal Survival Kit” (a lot of chocolate) keeps her laughing until the end of the year.
Beyond being the wonderful, amazing, brilliant, hard working and fearless leader of our beloved school, her leadership and kindness is unmatched.
We celebrated School Lunch Hero Day and our incredible cafeteria team who keep our school running strong every day!
From preparing meals to serving our students with care and kindness, they play such an important role in supporting our school community. Their hard work helps keep our students nourished, energized, and ready to learn.
We appreciate you today and every day—thank you, Mrs. B & Fizza, for all that you do!
💙💚💙💚💙💚💙💚💙
They keep our students safe, greet them with a smile, and navigate every route with patience, care, and dedication. Rain or shine, traffic or tight schedules, they show up consistently for our school community, and their role truly makes a difference in our children’s daily experience.
From the PTA, thank you for all that you do to keep our students safe and supported. We appreciate you today and every day!
Today we’re celebrating Administrative Professionals Day and our incredible front office team who keep our school running smoothly every single day!

From the first warm greeting in the morning to the many calls, emails, and behind-the-scenes tasks, they are the steady heartbeat of our school. They support our students, teachers, and staff, guide our families, and help keep everyone safe and cared for in so many countless ways.
Their patience, organization, and kindness make a lasting difference in our school community, and we are so grateful for all that they do! We appreciate you today and every day!
With gratitude from the PTA, we hope you enjoy Chick-fil-a lunch on us and your gifts today!
April is the Month of the Military Child, a time to recognize and celebrate the strength, resilience, and adaptability of military kids in our community.
Did you know the dandelion is the official flower of the military child? Dandelions are known for their ability to grow and bloom wherever they are planted. Just like military kids, they face change with courage, put down new roots in different places, and continue to thrive wherever life takes them.
And why do we wear purple? Purple represents all branches of the military, combining the colors of each service into one.
Wearing purple is a simple way to show support and appreciation for military children and their families. Join us in wearing PURPLE tomorrow (April 15th) to support the military students at Two Rivers Elementary!
This month, the PTA is celebrating our amazing media center librarians!
With National School Librarian Day on April 4, National Librarian Day on April 16, and a special birthday for Ms. V on April 2, we had plenty of reasons to show them some love!
We are so grateful for Ms. V, Ms. Olson, and Ms. Johnston, who inspire a love of reading and learning in our students every single day. These small tokens are just a little “thank you” for the big impact they make!
Last week, while our school community was enjoying a well-deserved Spring Break, April 1st marked Paraprofessionals Day—and we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate these incredible members of our Two Rivers Elementary family.
Our paraprofessionals are truly the heart behind so much of what happens each day. They support our students with the utmost care and dedication, often working behind the scenes to ensure every child feels seen, supported, and successful.
Whether they’re helping in the classroom, providing one-on-one support, or stepping in wherever needed, their impact is felt in countless ways—and our school is stronger because of them.

Our PTA’s Hospitality Committee kicked off the month by giving the teachers’ lounge a festive refresh! From a variety of snacks and drinks to coffee and tea favorites, we stocked the lounge to help keep our teachers and staff fueled and feeling appreciated.

We also added a little St. Patrick’s Day fun with a guessing game for a chance to win a special treat from the PTA!

This month’s restock was sponsored by the PTA, and we’re so happy to treat our Terrapin staff to a little extra appreciation and March cheer.

Our TRES Hospitality Committee has been busy this week!
We started with a lounge restock and ended with spreading a little love to our school teachers and staff.

Teacher’s Lounge Restock + Halloween = two of our favorite things! We were able to restock this month thanks to sponsor Frank Lozupone with Bowman Jarashow Law, LLC — a full service law firm in Annapolis.

It was so much fun getting to add a little extra for spooky season, and we couldn't have done it without you!

If you are interested in sponsoring, feel free to contact me and/or send an email to hospitality@tworiverspta.com

It’s time to start the monthly restocking of the Faculty Lounge! September was sponsored by the Students and Families of Waugh Chapel Enclave, and kids had fun making snack recommendations! A big thanks to the families who donated to make this happen!

Anyone can sponsor a monthly restock — business owners, individuals, HOAs, or even just a group of neighbors who want to show some extra love to our teachers and staff.

If you are interested in sponsoring, feel free to contact me and/or send an email to hospitality@tworiverspta.com
